The transition from Spring City Knitters Club to Sophisticated Stitches Club and now Streets Smarts Fiber Arts has been quite a journey. Sharon Minrath - Lace twin set made on Passap shown at SCK/MKGOP Seminar in June 2008

Above Sharon Minrath, who was our Passap instructor at the Spring City Knitters/Machine Knitters Guild of PA seminar held in Spring City, PA on Friday and Saturday, June 6 & 7, 2008 models her Passap lace twin set which includes a lace jacket and shell. She used the U-100 to create the lace work.

Compare this lace garment to the Summer Lace Top designed by Tammy Noble. In a previous post Margo Ketchum models the top. I bet there are many machine knitters who didn't realize the Passap could do a great job at knitting lace. Enjoy comparing the two garments.

Regards,

Donna
